Relief, Monotype, and Lithograph Prints for Sale!!
So last week was my school’s Print Sale, and I have a lot of prints that didn’t sell! I would love to have a little extra spending money to use on not-school things, so I’m putting my prints up for sale here!
Here’s what I have for sale, in terms of prints that are shrink-wrapped on foam-core and ready to ship [Title, Size of image, Medium, Price in USD. All prints have a 2” border]:
- Cheevers, 4”x 6”, Linoleum Relief, $20
- Thomas, 4”x 6”, Linoleum Relief, $25
- Citius, Altius, Fortius (Speed Skaters), 11”x 14”, Linoleum & Wood Relief, $75
- Zoom, Zoom, Honk!, Lithograph, size, $45
- Stripes II, 11”x 14”, Monotype, $90 (one-of-a-kind!!)
- Stripes III, 11”x 14”, Monotype, $80 (one-of-a-kind!)
All my prints are hand-pulled. Anything in my blog’s #printmaking tag is also available for sale, such as my EPCOT Center linocut (11”x 14”, $75) and all my Caps monotypes [EXCEPT Neuvy, who is sold] (sizes range 8”x10”-16”x 19” and prices range from $100-350 since they are one-of-a-kind prints). I also have a few poster-sized (11”x17”) copies of my Caps monotypes, which are $20 (but I cannot ship those out until I come home in March). Those prints, however, are not shrink-wrapped.
This is a ton of info, so if you have any questions, or are interested in my prints, please send me a PM in my askbox! Prices do not include shipping, which for the US is $5-6 (international, ask me!).
Our final assignment for Monotype was to create a portfolio of images based on one theme. It wasn’t hard to pick what theme I wanted to do.
What was hard, however, was choosing what prints I wanted to make. I had so many ideas!! I decided to focus mainly on the face/portraiture. What features make each player’s face unique? Is it Ovie’s smile? Neuvy’s eyes? Erskine’s handlebar moustache? We’re so obsessed with tracking goals and points that sometimes we lose track of the player’s expressions and what they physically look like under the helmet.
Originally the ‘folio was going to have 9 prints, but I had to cut two out for total of 7 because of time lost due to the power outage/Halloween snowstorm. :(
I put my heart and soul into these prints, and I’m so happy with how each one came out. Definitely a labour of love.
The three paintings I completed for my Watercolour Illustration class this semester!
(Going from bottom to top, right to left)
The first painting is an eagle made up of different parts of fruits and vegetables, based off the work of Archimboldo.
The second painting is of the final scene from the opera “Carmen.”
The third assignment had to involve an egg. So it’s a troop of Egg Scouts roasting marshmallows around the campfire, while Scout Leader Chicken tells them a story. hahahaha
I love how all of these paintings came out! Especially my little Egg Scouts~
RACHEL DRAWING ANIMU? WHAT IS THIS MADNESS?!
Hahaha, I only kid. I’ve been on a Sailor Moon kick lately and have been re-reading all the manga. Jupiter is my 3rd favourite of the Senshi (next to Mercury & Uranus). She was fun to draw. Finished this about a month ago, but I just got around to scanning it.
Eventually I’ll finish all the Inner Scouts at least. Eventually. Maybe over Winter Break or something.
Rachel (@kat326) is a flawless artist! :D
She did this sketch for me, and I love it. :D
So glad you love it!! Sasha is always fun to sketch. :]
My monster girl monotypes are finally DONE!!!
In all, I made 5, but… 2 of them didn’t come out as good (the lines didn’t register correctly, so the face blurred. D:)
I’m super happy with the final result. I put a ton of work into these prints. (Took me forever to get the perfect purple ink ((and just mixing all the colours in general)).)
The tentacle tattoo on her side is a reference to my pal Sfé, whose art inspired my prints. :D
So Zach aka tsizzlee was my 200th Twitter follower, so he won a free sketch! He requested Alex Semin, so here he is!
Just look at all that caring.
(Poor Sasha, I can never draw a serious picture of you. hahaha)
Enjoy, pal! :]
(I apologize for my horrible chicken scratch writing)
WIP of my 1st Watercolour Illustration assignment. We’re making animals out of fruits and veggies!!
This gem came to me from the Caps marketing department’s Ryan Smeets who has been collecting Caps broken, game-used sticks for the past few seasons and sending them to a talented artist in California named Alex Rohrig to create the ultimate Caps Eagle. Now this one-of-a-kind piece of Caps art is coming across the country to Verizon Center. Ryan will have the Caps “Weagle” for fans to take pictures of/with at Saturday’s Home Opener and more importantly, you can bid for a chance to purchase this bad boy and have it hanging over your own mantelpiece. He will be set up behind section 119 at Saturday’s game against Carolina with more information about Alex Rohrig and their next Caps-stick project. See you Saturday night. #CapsOpeningNight
Now THAT is one awesome piece of sculpture.
Vector drawing of Chell I meant to finish weeks ago.
Might fix up the Companion Cube. I’m not 100% happy w/ it.
My John Carlson/Captain America sign is 100% done! This one is for my mom. :]
Van Gogh’s Starry Night. I CANNOT EVEN.
This was my favourite of all the costumes seen this weekend.
