Art. Caps Hockey. Shenanigans.
Final assignment for my Acrylic Illustration class! Like my final oil painting, we were told to choose a subject we loved. But for this, it would double as a “self-promotion” piece. Since I want to go into sports illustration, I chose to do a sort-of “collage” dedicated to the Winter Olympics! That way, I got to paint hockey AND show I could do a range of other sports as well.The hockey player is Bobby Ryan, who also plays for the Anaheim Ducks. I’m super proud of this piece. It is definitely the best thing I’ve painted for this class, and one of my best pieces of the year.
